They are not mine. They are beautiful. Listed under pets. There are others also, and a few people looking to buy. Thought someone here might be interested.


Looking to re home an adult male Russian Tortoise and two Pancake Tortoises. Adult female and a hatchling about 7 months old
Re homing fees apply. All are long term captives. Pets. Not fresh imports.

I will be vending the new Reptile Show in Valparaiso Indiana on Saturday.

Like wellington, I also contacted the person selling the tortoises.
I got the same info, prices and such and that they were selling at the new Valpraiso Reptile Expo.

I went to the show. I saw the Pancakes there.
Let me tell you, they were NOT the tortoises represented in the ad! They looked nothing like the pictures posted.
The ad stated and adult female and a 7 month old hatchling, LTCs.
Well... the 7 month old was about right. It seemed OK, but it was starting to pyramid quite a bit. And as for the adult female, it turns out it was a sub-adult male about 4.5".
Also, it didn't look like a LTC to me. It was a little light and had no signs of captive growth. Coloration on both were typical Pancake.

I'm not saying the person was lying or anything, maybe they were just not as knowledgeable about Pancakes. They were obviously a reseller.

Here's a link to the ad. Although it says NW Indiana, they are from Indianapolis. Remember, they are not the tortoises pictured in the ad! I wish I had taken some pictures at the show...
