Just wondering if any are suitable for a hatchling environment, they are about half the size of a dollar but their enclosure keeps getting these tiny flies in it no matter how much I clean so I was thinking of adding a pitcher or one of those grass types but cant find any info on toxicity even on tortoise table.org

As far as I know they are not toxic. Just to be safe you could always put them in a pot so the tortoise can't get to it.
