Can someone ID this tortoise for me?

fish 110.jpgI found this little guy crossing the busy road the other day and I brought him home. The only native tortoises I am aware of in my area (Georgia) are Gopher Tortoises, and I have never seen one that looked like this. I appreciate any input.

it looks like an eastern Box turtle. it dosnt really look like an ornate to me. eastern Box turtles are native to georgia as well asFlorida, Gulf Coast, and Three-toed box turtles.

Eastern Box Turtle, native to GA. Best bet is take it back and put in an area away from the road in the direction it was traveling when you picked it up, but not too far from where you found it. :)
