Brown color on legs in between scales??

Why is my cherry heads legs looking kinda brownish instead of black, could it be that i forgot about him soaking and he saoked for a hour and a half almost a few days ago ? I used a soft tooth brush and gently tryed to clean it like maybe it was dirty but its his skin color for some reason.

I don't know much about CH but it all looks normal to me if you look up pics of other CH some are more blackish and some more brownish.
