This is a great idea Eric. Do you think it could be designed to drop the larvae directly into the turtles enclosure? Automatic live feeder!

Oh yeah, it wouldn't be difficult at all! I've seen some designs that drop the larvae in the chicken coop for chickens. Once I get this design tweaked, that's my next step!

Cool! I've got to try this, I've found BSFL in my compost bins, so they are around the area. Even if the turtles occasionally missed a larvae that dropped, there would be flies waiting for their wings to expand and dry: easy pickings!
