Bigred laid and Princess laid

Well today both of my restless females laid. Bigred is still covering her nest and its 10:15 pm. Bigred laid 4 eggs and Princess laid 4 eggs. Bigred is a one of a kind tort. Tonight I got pictures of Bigred laying her eggs right into a spoon I will post a pic of this in the next couple days. Been a long day

Yes Im glad she laid, I spent the weekend building a nesting box and then the temperature here warmed up pretty good so they laid in the backyard. They dug about 10 holes over about a 2 week period before they laid. So I dont have to worry about egg laying for about another 4 to 5 weeks
