I was reading the post about compact fluorescent bulbs quickly causing blindness in tortoises and I want to avoid that for the tortoise I plan to get.
Granted, a lot of these posts are older so I want to make sure I am getting up to date information and I'm not sure if at the time there were bulbs like the following:
Would you all recommend avoiding these bulbs as well (my guess is to avoid them, but I want to check out of curiosity)?
What is the best kind of UV lighting you can do for a smaller setup overall? A T5 or T8 in a hood? Vapor bulb? Something else? Specifics from anyone keeping a Redfoot (or any tortoise) in a tub setup with success would be appreciated!
