I have searched for videos before and never noticed this series so I am assuming this is new. 8-14 minutes each video, free with prime or 1.99 each. I will review them here as I watch them and you put your input in too. I hope they are short and sweet and enjoyable.

1) Native environment.
2) Enclosures.
3) Food.
4) Hibernating
5) Health issues.
6) Breeding.

I'm curious now too. If nothing else maybe I can put them on for the baby. She is obsessed with all things tortoises right now.

I just finished watching 4 of the 6, skipping the section on hibernating and breeding because I plan to do neither. You can watch the videos for free I believe if you are willing to deal with commercials. I am not.

I thought the videos were very good, short and to the point. I think where people are going rake Ernie over the coals is that he does what I do, substrate a mixture of topsoil and play sand. I really liked his section on food does and don'ts and the section on enclosures.

I recommend the videos and wish I had watched them before I went to petsmart. The first video was a great view of their lives in the wild. Not something I think would get baby's attention though. These videos are not eye candy, more lecture.
