Soooo.....I think I would be a kinder guardian if I rehomed my Diamond, an adult female Greek with a gorgeous shell. (It's all about looks, right?) I've had her since a few weeks after birth and 10 years or so. She's been very well fed and taken care of. We have an amazing vivarium here in Berkeley so the breeder is reputable and "the real thing".

I just don't have the space for her and quite honestly, I think she would be very responsive to more attention. But the space is the big thing. I have an enclosure that fits in my apartment but it really just be way bigger. I like in the San Francisco Bay Area and would be happy to bring her to you to meet.

If interested, give me a call at 1-510-377-1340 Name's Amy!

Not purposely trying to derail your adoption thread but I just have to clarify a claim/opinion you wrote in your initial post.

This statement is incorrect. East Bay/Berkeley Vivarium is not amazing by any means. The care sheets they provide contain very outdated and unsafe practices that will cause harm to any tortoise. Any person that adopts this tortoise please do not use their care sheets as a guide.

Thank you for this input. I would say that I should not have been so sweeping in my praise as I was basing it simply on the trust I have in their sources for breeders. Perhaps that trust is also misplaced..I any case, over the years, I have not gotten care advice from them but have used online resources. So, I guess that's good.
