Abnormal shell growth [ Update ]

hey folks, made a posting a few months back on my sulcatas abnormal shell growth and since then seems to be getting worse. Soft white spacing between shoots are becoming larger and scabbing is starting to form. She is also in clear pain when the area is brushed with a finger. Is this the infamous shell rot? Let me know what you guys think.

It's not shell rot, but if you have a light or heater hanging over the tortoise, it's too low and burning the new growth.

If it were my tortoise I would scrape out all the scabby-looking stuff, clean it good with Chlorhexedrine, dry it well then keep it lubricated with neosporin.

The new growth all around that whole scute is burned.
