Well Einstina has nested again right on schedule. I seen her scratching around the last couple days and of course today, the hottest day of the month at 98 F she decided to go for it. This is her 2nd clutch of 2012 and she laid 5 eggs this time so now I have a total of 12 eggs in the incubator. It took her about 2 1/2 hours but most of that was digging the nest.
Does anyone think I need to put a little more vermiculite around the eggs, they're about 50% covered now.
