I would like to introduce my 2 new Redfoots. I preplanned their arrival and got them at the Pomona Reptile Show. They appear to be healthy and have good appetites.
I will keep them isolated from the other two Redfoots for 2-3 months.
Their names are Ginger and Violet.
At this point I am pretending they are girls. :)

Oh I love pretending the gender of my young ones too :D I just dread the day when I have to quote the phrase from the classic movie "UP".

"Kevin's a girl?" -Russel

I have always guessed the sex of turtles and tortoises.
I have a female turtle " Rocky" and a male turtle named Rosey"
Oh well. I just pretend.
