    So the light is essentially acting as a dehumidifier? Will try covering up the sides. I live in southeast asia and it is ridiculously humid all year round, never would have thought that humidity would actually be a problem here :/ I'll get a hygrometer to check the humidity levels.

    Should I wait for it to warm up tomorrow morning to see what the temps would be like when it's been on for a few hours? It's the middle of the night now so the temp after 5 minutes might not be as warm? I will get a hygrometer first thing tomorrow! I'll never give him another carrot

    I don't think they can eat potatoes, the tortoise table says never to feed it. I don't live in the US and I don't have a seed import permit so I can't bring it in :(

    I will try soaking him everyday!! :) The humidity is just in the house. It's an open air enclosure for now. The temp under the bulb is 31.2C.

    How about spring mix? I also feed grass but he doesn't really like it. Should I try timothy hay? I feed him every other day. He only gets romaine every other week though. Thankfully his shell is hard now! When I first got him the plastron was still soft so at least thats one less thing to worry...
