I think he is. I thought he was just a Hermann's and didn't know there was an eastern and western type. But looking at the forum there is a difference. Edward seems bigger that the western type so i think he must be the eastern type. Theresa

Hi, I joined the forum yesterday. I have an eastern Hermann's tortoise called Edward. I've had him for 40 years. He was fully grown when I got him so I think he is about 90 years old. Does anybody have any ideas how long they live,as I am very attached to him. Any advise would be welcome...
