I used the foil tape between the light and the board to make a hinge of sorts.

Attached to the board on the inside. I used a porcelain fixture from Home Depot cost $4. Drilled a hole to run the wire through.

On my 55 which is 4 feet long I put a 2 bulb fluorescent fixture up front, a board across the back that fit inside the recess the tank had and sealed it all up with foil tape. It would keep it as soaking wet as I wanted.

Seal it up.

Yep there are the 3. I need to decorate some more got a big spider plant I can trim some cuttings from and put in a few little pots. Opens across the front and I used glass. Been set up less than an hour and it's already almost up to temp.

All done, gotta paint the outside still but my oldest will handle that.

I have, these are the ones he recommends. I'll be looking into something a little more comprehensive before I'm done but so far these have done the job.

I have three Sulcatas my thermometer is the little digital combo the sell at HD here it is next to Chuck.

The same thermo/hygrometer I have been using. My current setup stays at 85-90 degrees and the same in humidity. Moist and hot hasn't been an issue so far with it all sealed up the way it is.
