the shed area cant be bigger, but its really just for sleeping... It will have a heat lamp and uv bulb in there.
But I thought maybe a heat mat would help for night time.

Hey everyone, its been a while since ive been on here.
we have moved house recently, and george (now five) is getting ready to be kitted out in a new outside enclosure (hes currently in the spare room (tort table)
im looking at building a 2.2m X 2.2m brick enclosure with a wire mesh roof...
i hope this in the right section...?
our hermanns tortoise is living outside at the moment... he has a large enclosure with a modeified rabbit hutch for sleeping in.
some of you may have seen pictures of our enclosure on the site previously.
anyway, the hutch has a lamp inside it... a red uv...

george my hermanns lives permanently outside (enclosure pics are elsewhere on this site)
hes been happy as of late, but the british weather (as any of you that live in the uk know) has suddenly changed... and its freeeezing...
So georges outside enclosure is almost finished... still gotta fit his heat lamp inside the hutch, and plant some plants, maybe add a basking rock... and just pretty it up a bit.
Anyway, heres the enclosure so far... (george is visible in the pics, as he was just investigating his future home)...
