Hi everyone! My 2 year old baby has some dry patches around the bottom of her shell. I think it may have been where she was kept in dry vivarium in the pet shop. Is this right? And is there anyway to help it? Thanks :)

I'm struggling to keep the humidity in my Hermanns table. She has Coco coir and top soil, live plants and regular spraying but it will quickly drop from 80-70% to about 50%. I also cover her table at night to try and keep the humidity up, which works really well. Are there anyways I could...

I never though that Maggie ate any of her cuttlefish bone but heard some noise coming from her table and she had made a massive dent in it! Guilty little face :)

Hi :) I have recently bought some T-Lady Mediterranean tortoise mix seeds from Herbiseed and have started to grow them in some shallow dishes for the 2 year old Hermann. But wondered whether it's ok to actually plant some in her substrate? I'm using top soil and coco coir for substrate. Thanks! :)

Sooooo, the lamp I have at the moment is a UV lamp. So I'll need to add a heat bulb too? Would you be able to suggest a good one? :) Sorry about all of the questions! You've all been so helpful though! :)

I always thought that they needed a warm end and a cool end? So do they need heat to cover their whole house? I'm a newbie so still learning! :)
