Hi
I make sure the redear and dbt dont come close to my rt. So far they seem fine with spending a few hours in the more "dry" enclosure.
Its very enjoyable watching them.
Hello all,
I have a dbt about 5" and a redear about 4". They have lived together for about 2 years outside in a tub that holds 30 to 40 gallons. They are doing very well in there together.
I recently made a small enclosure within my RT's enclosure for the DBT and RE can roam and still have a...
Hi guys, I have BDT in a kiddy pool in my backyard. It is half full of water and only gets about 4 to 5 hours of sunlight.
I made a Youtube filter, 5 gallon bucket with sponges inside.
I get quite a bit of Algae within 3 weeks after cleaning out the pool.
Is this normal?
Is there any way I can...
I have a 40 gallon preformed filter, it is not in the ground. I have 1 DBT in there, I dont like the way my submersible 30 gallon filter is working. So I was looking on youtube and came across the Wendy Filter.
Has anyone made one and are using it?
I am not sure what size pump I would need for...
I remember reading somewhere about Hermanns reaching their heads up to drink water as it falls off leaves, I thought that would be cool to see.
This was sooo cool to see, he is such a fun, fun, fun little guy!
Oh yea, I just got this guy at the Pomona Reptile Super Show.
I was laughing at this little guy, so funny. I've never seen him move sooo FAST!!
Anyway, I just created a YouTube Channel so I am not sure how to post this short video, bare with me.
I hope it works...
I have eco earth and spaghnam moss kind of mixed in with the eco earth. I also have a big clump of it on top in a corner he loves to dig in there and hide. The spaghnam holds the moisture very well..
I lost a baby box and I now believe this coil bulb was the reason why.

What do you guys think, you think this could be put into a tank to bring humidity up?
Safe?
I came across this product at the store the other day and it seemed interesting.
Sorry if this is the wrong forum.
Yvonne, I always thought a Hermanni was the same size as a Russian, now I see they get up to 10 inches , I like that!
And the care is similar to a Russian, I like that too!
I think a Hermanni just made the jump to the top of the list.
Thank you guys
For sure a Tortoise.
Something a little bigger than my Russian.
Housed outdoors.
Easy care like my Russian has been.
A Tort that does not require alot of humidity outdoors.
Would love the tort to have personality!
I am going to a rep expo this weekened and would like to pick up my new Tort...
