my tortoise does this too! I try not to let her fall asleep because she doesn't like being woke up. I have done research and found that they go to you for heat.

I have checked the house and when she comes out I "play" with her so I know she is safe, but thank you!

Everytime I go to check how much food my tort as eat, she has never ate anything! I feel I have to handfeed her incase she gets hungry. Yet the pet shop did say she was a lazy little thing! How can I encourage her to eat on Her own? Thanks.
