I'm a newbie, I bought a T5 HO bulb.. I didn't realize it was a HO.. So, I'm assuming it needs a high output fixture and a under the cabinet is not going to work?

Ok, So I'm looking and I see it's going to need a 20" HO T5 fixture to fit the 18" bulb size
This might be a stupid question but if I have a 18" T5 bulb, Will I need a 18" T5 fixture to fit that 18" bulb or a 20"??
Will under the cabinet fixture work with a T5 bulb or no?
Thanks
Hmm decisions... I kinda wanted something see through so I can watch him/her. I planned on putting the enclosure in my living room..

How about a 4x2 size cage?
I don't have a Russian yet but planning on getting one... I was wondering if this size terrarium would be big enough for one Russian or no? 36"L x 18"W x 16"H
Thanks
I agree that a outside enclosure is best and I would house him/her in a enclosure outside in the summer/fall months but I'm in Northwest Michigan and our winters get way to cold (I think, anyway) to keep outside year round.. Would that size I mentioned be ok just to keep one in for the winter...
Is it best to have a enclosure to where they can't see through the sides of the cage? I kinda wanted a cage to where I would be able to see through the sides of it? The Tortoise will be in my living room and it would be nice to be able to watch him/her through the cage..
Sorry, For all the questions.. Is it best to keep them in pairs (Do they enjoy company) or are they fine by themselves?

No, I do not plan on breeding..
I also have been noticing that places that sell them, They sell the adults for way cheaper than the babies.. Why is that? Is it because people want babies more than the adults?
Is it better to get a baby than a adult? I wouldn't mind a adult or a baby but I was just wondering. I suppose it's...
