hi! Im just wondering is this a fungus or a shell rot? In some threads earlier it says that when you scratch it off it will be like powdery, some of it goes off but some no.. Any infos about this? Thank you
Thats what i do, mix it with greens, sometimes he eats, but sometimes he choose only the greens.:)
I think my rf is getting choosy.. Now, im trying to let him eat boiled chicken and egg, but doesnt like it. But for the past 3 weeks iv been giving him that but he eats it.
Do you guys give protein food includes in your rfs diet? I tried giving mine eggs and boiled chicken.. At 1st he eat it, but the next week, doesnt like anymore.
I have an indoor enclosure, substrate is cocopeat and on the top layer is sphagnum moss. Humidity is around 80-90%.. And temperature is 83 on the hide part and 90-100 on the dry part.
When i got my hatchling rf last week of november, i have noticed that there is a small white spots on his carapas and now noticing that there is also in his plasteron.
Can anyone help me identify what is this? And what is the cure for this?
**sorry for the picture if it is not so clear**
Oh ok.. I also let him go outside every morning in the garden for sunlight.. Thanks for the info..

same question, but for me, my rf doesnt like to bask. My enclosure in around 78-79 in temp and humidity atleast 80. He always stays in his hide and just go out to eat or drink. Or sometimes he fits himself at the back of his hide and sleeps there...
But every morning i soak him with warm water...
I give him, jute mallows as a bulk of his diet. It is high in fiber and calcium. I also give him river spinach, apple, pumkin, hibiscus flower and leaves. It has been exactly a week from the day i got my hatchling rf.
Its just for decor and also where i place my gauge.. I think the enclosure...
