Our tortoise arrived!! Me and my boyfriend are very very excited! We are trying to let him settle in before bugging him too much, but we had to take a few pictures!!! (Some of them are just of the enclosure by the way..)...

My new baby eastern herman is coming today! In only one hour! I am so excited! :D :D

I ended up buying a 100 watt sunforce mercury vapor bulb from big apple pet supply. Hopefully that will be okay?

I was thinking the ramp my be too steep! Fortunately it shouldn't be too hard of a fix. I think I am going to go to the store to look for a suitable rubbermaid today just in case. I will try him in this house first, but its not a big deal if it doesn't work for him...I mean it would be nice, but...

I was looking for a heat source and a light. I did not know if any of the ones on that site would work, so I just ordered a mercury vapor one on a pet store online. thanks for responding!

I am slowly getting prepared for my new baby eastern hermann to come. I already built a tortoise table for him, what substrate would you recommend for a hatchling? Any suggestions would be greatly appreciated :)
