This is Amber
He/She have been having runny nose for about a year. Saline drops, nebulization, anti-biotic jabs all don't work. I think she is just sensitive as the other 2 (Sheldon & Jasper) (which I keep separate from her) don't have it.
Anyway, I stopped getting concerned as she is...
they are rather poorly kept by the current owner. He wants to give them up and I figured the best I can do is give them a good home (I already hv 3 at home).
I have only seen the pics of the torts and not seen the actual torts yet. According to the current owner, both torts are healthy and...
Ok, as you guys know I adopted this Star whom I named Sheldon.
He is the most un-tortoise like tortoise I've ever seen. (He likes to follow people and animals around, chase after wind-up or RC toys, smell visitor socks) and what is worrying recently is that he has developed a taste for bread...
Picked up a new Star today. Owner gave him up for adoption because she is moving out of the country.
His diet used to contain only beans, iceberg lettuce, corn and cabbage.
Overall he is healthy and active with bright eyes BUT I suspect he suffered from some form of calcium deficiency as...
Hi, I'm new to this forum.
Been more of a turtle keeper than a tortoise keeper for many years.
My turtles include 2 Fly Rivers and 1 Matamata
However, recently I just got myself 2 Sri Lanka Stars and 1 Indian Star so I'm here. They are about 1 year old each.
Can anyone help by posting pics of the tail shot of a male and female so that I can figure out if my torts are male or female.
Would appreciate your help as I believe that a picture speaks a thousand words, and I don't trust myself sexing them correctly without a picture.
Thanks!
