I recently had to take my tort to a vet for a RI infection. they gave him 2 doses of baytril every other day. When you susspect your tort has a RI infection do you go to the vet or do you just administer the baytrill yourself? I am thinking f giving him the baytrill myself next time he has one...

I just got my tortoise back from the vet today for a RI and they used baytril which worked pretty good.

Hi i am thinking about getting a 6 by 3 by 2 feet terrarium. do you think if i had 2, 150 wtt mercury vapor uvb bulbs it would keep it warm enough and produce the proper amount of uvb lights.i have a cherry head redfoot tortoise by the way. Thanks
