Wheezy is addicted to having his shell scratched I swear LOL!! I have Tons of video of us scratching his shell and he goes Nuts! I'd imagine if you were carrying your house around on your back with NO way of Ever itching it yourself you'd be Mighty itchy too LOL!!

Wheezy is my redfoot! He was found by a Good Samaritan who took him to a local reptile rescue. He has horrible pyramiding and has a Bad Wheeze while breathing hence the name Wheezy!

Hahaha sooo cute!! Bananas are Wheezys Fav fruit but he only gets it every once and a while but when he does watch out its the pretty quick!

I don't own a Sulcata but help out at a local reptile rescue and they have a 30lb female Sulcata named Puppy because she's like a puppy lol climbes into laps even lol. BUT she REALLY likes orange shoes (so does my redfoot) if you have orange shoes on she won't leave you alone lol.

If I had a baby tort to name I would have to say I would Totally name it Crush (I know Crush from Nemo is a Sea Turtle but I think it works male and female!) or Crash. Super cute little tort :)

Only thing I have heard about the window screens is they don't let in enough UV which is why we say to mount uvb Inside of an Indoor Enclosure so keep that in mind maybe getting some chicken wire or a wire with smaller holes your tort cannot fit through if something decided to go "tort fishing"...

You can still call her Toby like Toby, Elaine's co-workers on Seinfeld :D or Tobi with a heart over the i :D

Thanks Nixxy yeah I have seen worse in Sulcatas too! Nasty how they end up looking! Hate that Wheezy has had such a hard life (he wants for nothing now lol!) I keep wondering how old he is and if he will ever get new growth or not? Do all (or most) pyramided (severe) end up growing more or...

RonHays - Thanks :) nothing wrong with being bumpy he's just so darn small but he eats like a horse lol not sure where he puts it all lol. He seems to be happy guy that's what I strive for with my pets to give them the best possibly life I can!

OMGOSH sooo cute!! Fed Wheezy his first ever boiled egg tonight (that I have fed him) and he LOVED It but got 1/2 way through and started to slow down eating it so I stopped him at 1/2 for his first :P
