    Does anyone have any drawings of which they built their tortoise table from. I'm hoping to build one around 6ft wide and 2 ft depth. There current house is now too small and I want to do something a bit special.

    Wow thanks for all the nice comments he was slightly bumpy when we got him but ever since we have followed all the instructions from this forum he has started growing a lot smoother!!

    Sheldon has thin white lines along where he grows not sure if you can see in the picture? They are a lot brighter than the rest of the shell? Anyone know what they could be?

    Thanks for the help - also what does gravid mean? She seems to dig herself in totally and kind of rest her head against the substrate! We haven't seen them mate lately so don't expect it to be eggs we have like coconut soil substrate which we changed too from sandy loam about 2 months ago?

    So they are definitely both Greeks but we can't determine the sub species? They have been with my nan for over 30 years ish if that helps and are we sure they are male and female? Thanks

    Yes it does have a yellow head! What's TGG?? I don't think they have breed before so prob steer clear! The male is double the size as the smaller one is tiny! Which is why I'm so surprised that they are similar species!

    My tortoise loves to shake his bum up against the sofa when I let him out to walk around. Is this a common thing or is he just strange!
