Despite what most people say about particle substrates I say choose whatever you feel comfortable using and is compatible with ur beardie. I use zilla's english ground walnut shells, or desert blend, for my beardies. And I have been for quite some time. My eldest uncle had em so I tried them...
ditto sooo tiny. I had mines when they were older. I never bred, so I'm wondering: what do most people do when they come across so many new baby beardies???
Yea I don't recommend putting beardies together, thats just me from personal experience. I have also heard other people say that putting two males or two females together is, especially, not wise either since both, even the females, can get territorial.
Wow thats interesting. Have a good trip. Last time I had a trip, was in october and it was not for fun, so nevermind, I don't think it can be called a vacation. Other than that I went 2 decembers ago on a family vacation. I need it...terribly.
Its weird how I've come across turtles with eye problems and they're mostly res. Is that too much of a coincidence in what I've read?
And yes terramycin is good stuff. I know someone who swears by it.
How is everyone? I have come in possession of a painted turtle that was wandering in the street (more like my friends backyard. I decided to take it in and keep him(?). I'm more of a lizard person than a turtle person so hopefully all will go well. He (?) is just so tiny that i'd hate to see him...
