    The vet hasn't done an x-ray. And he doesn't think the spine is damaged because my tortoise is moving his legs ok. The vet just thinks that the shell is putting pressure on his spine.

    New owner questions!

    I had a question on bedding too. I can get hay and aspen easily but I don't know if it's ok for him to be on either of those. He has been on rabbit pellets for these past four years.

    I just chopped up some romaine lettuce for him. I am going to wait on mixing other things in with the romaine lettuce until he starts eating it regularly. At that point I think it will be safe to start mixing in other things. I'll make sure to stay away from the fruits. Thanks a ton!
