Some hot weather is coming to the east coast and I'm wondering if we should bring our tort indoors. What temp is too hot for them? I know they're from the desert, but I don't want too cook her! She does have a hide.
We bought a RT from PetSmart 2 mos ago. She's in a 3ft x 1 1/2 ft Tupperware bin. It was the largest I could find. She has a good substrate and warming and UVB lights. But I feel terribly guilty that she's living her life in a bin in my son's room! she gets out about once a day but not for too...

I also wonder if Buddy is getting enough entertainment during the day, but it seems from looking around this site I shouldn't worry about that.

A little over a week ago I got our son a Russian Tortoise from PetSmart. I was just there to get some hamster stuffing, but the little guy/girl was soooo cute! My son asked for a turtle for Christmas but didn't get one. He's being working hard at school and the opportunity presented itself, so...
