I've been hand feeding my turtle, and now whenever I put my hand in there to move his decorations or something, he thinks I'm food and tries to bite me. If i don't hand feed him, he doesn't see the food because hes far too busy clawing at the glass and saying "Feed me!". What should I do?

Anyone have any home-made or household stuff they like to use in their tanks? :)

Well, my mississippi map turtle is breathing really weird.. When he breaths in, his neck bulges out has a tint of red. What could this be from? Is it normal? Thanks . :)

Hand feeding! :D This is my little Squirt! Just got her a week and a half ago. The pictures aren't very good because i took them with my phone, but enjoy! Woah! A little close to the camera, there. :) Lol. When i shake her food can, she comes right on up for food! :)
