Hi, we’ve had our Russian tortoise for just over a month now and he seems to stay in his hide almost all day, comes out occasionally to eat something.
Is this normal?
Temps -
Basking - 35 degrees Celsius
Hot side - 30 degrees Celsius
Middle - 25 degrees celcius
Cool - 22 degrees celcius...
I live in the uk and ide love for my tortoise to be out in the garden. But as the winter months are coming it’s sitting around 10-15 Celsius. Would this temperature still be okay to allow the tortoise to go outside? Or should I keep him inside?
Hi, I bought a baby (6 month) horsfield tortoise 2 days ago (Thursday) and I’m worried he’s not eating as he should. Between now and then he has had a couple of bites of a dandelion head and that’s about it.
