    It’s closed at the top and I have a heat mat on the bottom near the hide I switch this on at night when I turn off the heat light and uv strip bulb at the top so it’s all dark at night.     I just used my finger. I basically do it to what I would bath a baby in and I think that other comment was right because as the water cooled it was like he wanted to get out.

    Does this look right? The water is warm after looking at other posts I think the water could be slightly higher. I’ve done this everyday since I’ve had him (3 days)but no poo yet I think I’ve just seen a wee ? and he has passed the urates everyday but when/how often should they go a poo?
