everyone Is just trying to help you care for your tortoise. I was looking at your pic and maybe you could rethink how the CHE is on the top of your tank? No heat would be going down in the enclosure from that. Just a suggestion. heat would be my biggest concern if my baby was sick

I bought a “Katchy” off of Amazon, I put it in the enclosure at night and next to it during the day. I’m on day 3 and im happy with the results. Not Immediate but better! I know it sounds silly but I had bad images of my hermanns swinging on the fly strips ?

So, i have a somewhat of a green thumb, my husband has 2 green thumbs but i have never really cared what they were only that the plants worked in a space and grew well. I knew i had to do a bit better since i am responsible for the lives of plant eaters. I couldn’t tell one species from another...

Those Are Great!! Thanks for sharing. There is not a ton of reliable info out there on starting babies. I researched for a long time and had a ton of conflicting stories. But i think i am on the right track now. ?

I got my hermanns from Arizona tortoise compound, and would use him again. Nice healthy babies. But I’m not as experienced as some of the others around here ?
