Upgraded to a larger enclosure and now need longer UVB lighting, considering this https://zoomed.com/t5-reptisun-led-uvb-terrarium-hood/ have seen contradictions if LED light for extra lighting (not UVB) is bad for tortoises eyes. Anyone using this? Yay or nay on LED light for extra lighting...
I have a Flukers mini dome light that is rated for 100 watts max. Is it OK to run a 100 watt ceramic heat emitter in this? Concerned about maxing out the light fixture with a ceramic heat emitter as they get upwards of 500 degrees on the surface of the emitter.
