Well if there is then they sure don’t seem to be doing the job very well in most cases. Especially Baytril, that stuff is like the devil to these torts and in my experience I’ve seen no good come from administering Baytril. Although, I’m sure some have had success

Isn’t it true that if a tortoise can’t pass eggs then there is a chance for build up of calcium and blockage and in the system?

Thanks for the response, and no I have somebody arguing me that a young torts shell, specifically the pointy parts on the bottom backside (lol, you’ll have to help me with terminology) won’t change much as they grow and doesn’t understand why people can’t sex them at an early age :/... oh oh oh...

I’m aware it takes several years for a young tort to show their gender. My question, many people seem to think that they can still tell at a young age and claim their shell won’t change “that much”, so how much can ones shell change while growing?
