I do have a few. They sell for $300 each. They hatched on April 14th. I'll be ready to sell them toward the end of this month.

Great - do you have photos or a website or something? I'm very interested but don't know much about how this sort of thing works on this forum. When you say "ready to sell" does that mean greater than 4 inches or is there some other marker that you wait for?

No website. I'm just a small time hobby breeder. I work in quality, not quantity. Any good breeder should be head starting their babies for at least 4-6 weeks before selling them. When I say "ready to sell them", that means I think they will be well started, growing and eating well, and ready to move out to their new homes.

We frequently see problems here on the forum with ignorant or unscrupulous breeders selling babies far too soon before they are ready. Other breeders simply don't start them well or take the time to soak them often and introduce a wide variety of foods in those critical first few weeks. How well the baby is started has a profound effect on how well it does long after the sale.
