Just a question did you finish giving the deworming medication they sent home?? Maybe he is having some diarrhea from the medications, parasites and overall stress of the situation.
I would suggest deworming your redfoot. My friend had purchased one from another pet store and hers was loaded with worms, otherwise have your veterinarian test for worms and that will require you bring in a sample of poop to them.
When our beardie was about the size of your she started to get mean. It's like she had gone through a teenager phase. We started handling her more and she is now fantastic!!
If the substrate is reptibark and it gets wet I could see it staining the tort. I know when it gets in my water dish everything is stained the same color as that tortoise.
Welcome. What is your humidity level? I have a year old sulcata who has grown very slow but a lot of it was me figuring out what works. I was feeding once daily then I changed to twice daily and making sure I have lots of humidity and progress is being made.
If you continue the antibiotic soaks I would check with your veterinarian to make sure the antibiotics are even safe. Reptiles can have very few antibiotics that are safe for them. A cow antibiotic maybe harmful.
