Thanks everyone :). The babies are feeding well on 1/16 inch crickets. My second clutch will be hatching within the next week :). A couple of the eggs are starting to dimple.
I agree. However, I didn't get to watch these hatch. The first two hatched while I was at work, then another one hatched while I was asleep last night, lol.
May laid another six eggs fifteen days after laying her first clutch.
Two of them were stuck together so I left them that way out of fear that I might kill one or both the eggs if I tried to separate them. Another week or two and I'll be able to tell if they are dead eggs when I candle...
I candled May's eggs Sunday night. Out of six four are definitely looking pink, one is hard to tell. It's a darker yellow, and one is very yellow. They were only a week old. They still look nice and plump and have no discoloration.

I definitely will post pics when they hatch :) I wish I was closer too! I feed my beardie roaches, and when I get them small enough, I feed them to my steppe runners.
It's been a long time since I've been on here. I recently started breeding steppe runner lizards, and have not been able to find much information on them, therefore I'm keeping careful records on how I'm caring for them, their behavior, and breeding.

I use textured stone tile myself. It's easy to clean, keeps my guys nails filed down, and doesn't cause any problems with my dragons! I give a few coats of spray on polyurethane to seal them, and make them easier to clean and viola! Some prefer to grout theirs in to prevent their dinner from...
Sounds like your little guy is going through puberty :) He'll act like a rebellious teenager for awhile. When he gapes at you stuff a piece of collard green, mustard green, or dandelion green in his mouth. He'll soon come to realize you are a good thing!
