I looked at the wounds & they weren't that bad... It seemed fine & so I just put him in the woods & kept the dogs in for a while until I knew he was gone. He was bleeding a little though. :/

Okay, my grandma found an injured box turtle. I know the care needs but he won't come out of his shell at all. I tried soaking him & he didn't come out. What should I do?

Okay, I ran out of spring mix that I normally give my tortoise, so now I have nothing to feed him.. What do I do until I can go get more spring mix? What can I give him from my yard.? I have grass & dandelions & maybe some plantain??

Russian tortoise, & no. Because I'm paranoid about dogs because our neighborhood is full of them, but when I move out I'm gonna put a 8' x 4' enclosure in a spare room.

If I was to get pregnant, would I have to get rid of my tortoise? I love him so much. Please tell me how I can keep him & still have a child in the future..

I feed my russian spring mix, occasionally some aloe vera, plantain, & I've given him apple once but it was only a treat.
