My tort was not thrilled about being flipped over to be measured but I made up for it with strawberry noms as a reward for cooperating lol. The results are 5 inches! Feel free to guess the sex and or age of my tort. I welcome input :)

Sorry if this is a really common question, but I'm not sure how to figure out approximately how old my tort is? Any guestimations would be appreciated, she's about 4.5 inches long from the back of her shell to the front of her shell. I attached a picture of her next to my hand...if that helps...

I've had many different kinds of pets in the past including 3 dogs, a cat, 3 rabbits, a horse, and even a red eared slider. So I wanted a different kind of pet. I decided on a tortoise because I wanted a pet that would be a life long friend :)
