I'm a first time tortoise owner. I ended up with Rosie the redfoot by accident. Someone gave her up to the pet store I worked at and she wasn't being cared for properly, so I brought her home. She's been gaining weight, the severe shell rot she'd gotten is healing and she's much more active.

The hubby says I can only keep her until she gets better...but...we will see. ;)
