I have thought about these options, but my mom has three cats (and I live with her still)... And I really have no place to put a bigger tank, the room I want to use to put a bigger enclosure in is simply not an option according to my mother.. :(

Okay. I gave it to him again this morning because it seems to be the only thing he'll eat right now. I mixed in his tortoise pellets and some grape tomatoes with it, but the stinker eats around it. :/ Later today I'm going to try to give him some regular tomato and see if he'll eat it instead of...

Okay, thankyou all :] I removed the big box and he has been roaming all over the new available space, I think he likes it. :] I plan to build him an outdoor enclosure but right now my budget really wont allow it. :/

My Russian tortoise has a huge box for a hideout, it's about 12" deep and 9" across. He sleeps in it during the night, but hardly ever goes in it during the day. It takes up a huge space in his terrarium, though. I just recently made him a hideout using a Blue Bunny plastic icecream...

I looove reading about Frankie! He makes me want to get a Sulcata of my own some day :] But right now Jojo needs all my love. :D

My Russian Tort is twitching when he rests. His arms twitch lightly. I have no clue what's wrong. Is this normal? And his skin is flaking, is that normal too? sorry I post so many questions on the forums, I'm just a concerned first time mother. And I want my Jojo to be a happy and healthy...

Here in Indiana, cuttlebones are nearly always never in stock. There is something about a shortage going on. So I heard of calcium powder to mix in with my tortoise's food. Where can I get this? I don't recall seeing it on petsmart shelves. lol. Also, can anyone fill me in on what Mazuri is? Is...

Thankyou all! He hasn't touched the clover, but I put some Yellow Woodsorrel in there and it was gone in minutes! I hope he learns to start eating more then greens though, he wouldn't eat the grape tomato or banana in his dish :/
