Urgent help required!!! (drinking but not eating)

Very concerned about one of my new leopard tortoises!! :( It (Wispa) seems to be drinking a lot of water but not eating much. We brought it home at the beginning of this week and, after giving her chance to settle down a bit, we weighed her this morning and it is only weighing 80 grams compared...

Well he has emailed her to ask her to advise him who the shipping company is so that he can check that out and confirm they are one and the same when the shipping company contacts him to take the payment. All he has provided to the seller is his address for the delivery and nothing else. No...

Hmmm thanks Yvonne, I was wondering about the over-heating as I mentioned in my initial message about this. And the ants are a worry too as we do get a lot of sun, heat and ants in this country over summer. Soooo maybe I leave this treatment just to do over winter when it is a lot cooler and a...

This is a silly one (shell creams??)

This is a really stupid question brought up by a discussion I had with a friend about her mums tortoise as she used to do this... Is it ok to rub olive oil in to a tortoises shell to make it shine? I would say it's not necessary and I can only imagine that, especially in Cyprus where we and our...

How to get my tortoises to eat what they should??!!!

Hi Lynne... Once more thanks for the good advice. Yes they do live outside over here though they will probably be brought in for the occasions when it does rain over winter (God forbid they should drown.. and when it rains over here it pours so the ground doesn't always get chance to soak it up...
