Mine are @ 6 lbs and they will eat orchard grass hay. I stopped putting it in their enclosures because I thought it kept them from eating the other foods I put in. My 1 lb sulcata also will eat it too, I catch him with hay hanging out of his mouth all the time. They all like to hide in it

Here is my sulcata , Baxter . I haven’t sent in many pics of him lately, so here he is getting some sun today , he is 9 months old and he weighs 410g . He is growing very well . He is currently gaining weight at around 2.5 g per day . He has gained 35g in the last 14 days
I used to feed my draft horses and mules Purina Strategy feed soaked in vegetable oil , it worked great for equines , they were in top condition. I don’t know what effect the vegetable oil would have on torts though.
