How juvenile?

I'm in Washington. I realize you're in Texas. I'm thinking he would be better in a continuously warm climate. In winter I have him in a shed with heat lamps and artificial lighting. He's kind of forced into a hibernation. This last winter was warmer so he wasn't asleep as much. I'm still...

I have a large Sulcata. I've had him since 99 or so. I bought him for my son as a hatchling. I have the room where I live but not fenced. I'm concerned about other wildlife as well. Thinking about finding him another home as an option. Winters can be rough here at times and that is also a concern.

Just talked to him again. He plans to pick him up today abs get him in soon proper substrate. He'll take care of him until we can locate a forever home.

The tortoise is on the west side. I'm on the east side. My oldest son lives west. He's willing to pick it up.

Someone is giving away an African tortoise where my son works. She says it's an African tortoise. I'm not sure. Also can you tell much about his health in this pic? He's only been fed romane and calcium. Is anyone interested in this tortoise? I have a sulcatta.
