We have a mixture of grasses, weeds, low hanging plants and flowers and bushes. What would you suggest to add more variety until I can plant the tortoise garden?
It's about to be winter here, so I haven't grown a tortoise garden yet, but I have ordered the seeds for one. Should I be feeding her something other than what she grazes on? Or is that fine for now?
If I'm letting Nova graze every day do I still need to provide food in her enclosure? I do currently, but only things that she would find outside like Bermuda grass, clover, and rose pedals. I just don't want to over feed her...
Also, I just found out that as a hatchling she had him in play sand and it dyed him, but i would think that 3 years would be enough time for that to go away. this is him as a hatchling after they dyed him with the play sand.
Honestly, Probably not. she had a UVB but when i went to pick him up, it wasn't even on. I asked if she ever let him out to graze and her response was " Yeah, but he hasn't been out in a long time, because we have a big dog in the back yard."
Thanks for your input! I'm not sure if i need another thread, but i'm also trying to figure out why he is so orange? The person who had him before me was feeding him all veggies. I'm not sure if that could have something to do with it or not.
