This is Rex, I got him (/her) on Saturday, a 21st birthday present. He's a 2 year old Hermann, and absolutely adorable and so active. I've been putting my life on hold to sit and watch him.
I know its too early to tell, but he's showing signs of being a boy (the tail, the shape of the shell)...

Not yet, I'm hoping when I get them, they both have overly distinguishing features...somehow I don't think I'll be so lucky. I was trying to wind my mum up by temporarily picking out the least appropriate names I could think of for tortoises, now I'm worried Fluffy and Dash might stick!
I've attached a picture - ignore the flowers, I found out later that they aren't real...trust me to fall for that scam. It is quite pricky, I think I'll probably avoid it then, I'd rather not risk hurting them in any way.
