As you know In my previous posts my Sulcata tortoises lower beak fell off. He’s been eating very good, pooping, and everything. But I have to keep cutting his food to a good size because he has no lower beak.

Recently my baby sulcata lower beak fell over, he’s eating very well and moving around a lot. My question is will his lower beak grow back and how long would it take?
On my previous post his low beak came completely off due to an infection or bacteria so I moved him and it’s harder for him to eat so I hand feed him for the most part. His basking temp is 105F and cool side 70F
this is his current set up before I had him on eco soil and even before that like eco earth bark so I felt like maybe he got sick from that so I moved him.
Franklin hasn’t been eating for awhile & took him to the vet the women said there was some kind of plaque inside his mouth also bottom mouth was swollen on the outside. The doctor did a oral clean and removed the plaque but she stopped because unfortunately the nasty plaque build up in his mouth...
I agree with tom 100% but I don't know to much about Greek tortoises because I own a Sulcata tortoise but there temperatures are about the same. I use a 100w bulb it settles around 90 to 95 or sometimes 100 degrees and i also use a 10.0 UVB florescent bulb.
