Have been thinking about that tree and now think it is probably a Catalpa tree, also an incredibly fast grower. Just candled the eggs and all are fertile....good girl.
Probably one of the fastest growing trees on the planet and will quickly provide shade, drawback is it can become very invasive after it starts blooming and dropping seeds (and don't know and havent been able to determine if the blooms/seeds are toxic to torts), other members may be able to shed...
