the other animals havent really posed a threat, they sniff at her and thats about it, but we recently rescued these two ferrets and they didnt know any better, honestly it was my fault because i wasnt thinking, which will never happen again. but shes fine, back to doing her torto stuff, scraping...
so i wasn't thinking the other day, and i had my tort out walking around the house, with her little balloon taped to her shell, and i also had my ferrets out wandering around the house. i look over and my dog is going nuts in a corner with the balloon so i thought maybe Venus got her self tipped...
she has gotten alot better, she seems to be sleeping alot more than normal, she eats normally and i still soak her but she is burrowing into the dirt under her log a lot more than normal. it is fall here would that have anything to do with her behavior?
ok so i got my tort a kiddy pool for a new enclosure, (i did have her in a 10 gal tank) and now she wants out of the kiddy pool. she isnt very big and ive been told that she has enough space but i dont know what she wants from me T-T
I got venus a kiddy pool today and transplanted dandelions (i hope they dont die ) but she seems happy, i also sifted through the dirt so theres no chunks of anything harmful, and i dont know if i should keep worms in there or not so i took them all out.
my russian tort seems to be sleeping and eating alot..i read up on hibernation and it is fall here in indiana, is she going into hibernation? if so what should i do for her?
